So yeah I failed to fall asleep, but now we have that one too. I'm going to try this sleep thing again because it's 4:08AM here which is pretty bad. 😅 Tomorrow though! I'm coloring that big boi!

I remember Trent Kaniuga made this video about fail faster... and BOY does it apply to freelance, because if you draw for yourself you can figure what you want ahead of time, but when you draw for others you literally have to fail fast multiple times and iterate until you figure out what THEY want.

Just sketching from refs because I drank a coffee too late at night. This one I did clean up a few terrible lines, but I also tried to leave some of the earlier ones. I think sometimes during sketching it's worth just leaving some slightly off lines because they guide with the next line placement.

I saw the demo a long time ago. It reminded me of Bioshock (trilogy I loved), except totally refreshing because now it's evil clowns, mascots, animatronics, killer toys, etc. I haven't seen anything beyond the demo however and I don't have a gaming PC. :(

Itch.io has an official job board!? I just found out about this. It's under the browse tab but you have to look carefully.
I was always checking "Help Wanted Or Offered".
I'm not sure how this job board works exactly but I'm just going to assume it's better than Upwork.

I should do a mockup of "Alter of Pain" from Doom 64. I love this level design and have several unfinished Doom mockups just sitting around on my PC. Only the swamp moat though.
Also cacodemons are odd looking but unique in this Doom game. They look like pain elementals but behave like cacodemons.

I did some touch-up on this. It's the butcher boss from #Diablo. Technically this still isn't finished and figuring out how to texture all of this stuff would take A LOT of reference study, but just the fact that I did this in #Aseprite with a mouse is still impressive imo. (Unhinged ver. below)
