While I agree with the sentiment that Trek was at its best when it had more than 8-10 episodes to tell stories, I ALSO think Trek is ripe for the kind of 3-4 episode story arcs that made late Clone Wars so good.

RE: IOC ban on trans women: It’s increasingly clear that society needs to FAFO a while with chromosome tests before people are willing to admit that “woman” is a complicated category.
And the fact that they won’t learn that the category “man” is just as fraught reveals the underlying misogyny.
