My husband has a second part time job he doesn’t need. It is an hour commute one way to work two Saturdays a month. I have begged him to quit because we do not get much time together. I do not know how else to impress on him that I am starting to resent not having weekends with him.

It is wild to me to watch a consulting group bungle a huge contract in real time because we will not approve an AI tool that will help them write code. We would have to onboard this tool into our enterprise and then remove it in 3 months when they are done. They will not budge on this tool.

My husband helps a friend run his tabletop game store on the weekend. It is commencement today and watching the little graduating gamers bringing their parents in to show them “a favorite spot in town” is so dang cute. 🥺

We do not have any dogs for the first time in 14 years. My husband noticed a rabbit in our yard, opened the door, and yelled at it to get out of the yard. I looked at him, really puzzled, and he told me, "They need to know our dogs still have shooters out here".

She was the best girl. My first dog as an adult on my own, the world is a little less bright today without you. We had 14 amazing years together.

2026 is so heavy, my 13-year-old dog is in the vet hospital overnight, and I am not well. If I lose her, my house will be empty; we lost our boy last August, and I don't know if I can go through it so soon.

Y'all, my mom is 80 years old, and she and her evangelical friends are doing a victory lap over us killing people in Iran. I cannot explain to you how much the evangelical church has rotted away the souls of people who have been entangled with it. I grew up in it and left at 16, no regrets.

Thinking about being in divorce court, and my ex tried to argue I was unfit to care for our kids because my stated religious views on Facebook were, "Don't start none, won't be none." And then I had to show a clip of the sniper scene in The Losers for the judge, so he would understand the reference.
