This Osborne Street safety study is going to fail because it is looking for "low-cost improvements that can be installed quickly" when a proper (but not necessarily cheap) long term solution is needed

Things the PM could consider as this escalates: go after DT's billionaire buddies
1) remove the tax deductibility of advertising on US media platforms like Google
2) reimpose direct tax on said platforms
3) put strict conditions on Canadian data housed in US data centres
4) AI governance rules

1) This is absolutely the right call. I don't know the details, but being pressured into accepting a bad deal is not an option.
I might feel differently if I were in an industry where my job was on the line, but the PM has to do what is best for the nation as a whole.
