Then, reasonable customers stopped buying digital games and emptied their console.
Sony says "reasonable consumers" know they don’t own the digital PlayStation games they buy.

It argues that it's "not plausible" to suggest that when they buy a digital game they actually believe they're "obtaining ownership" of it.

the thing about indie games is that if someone designs one single game I love, I’ll get whatever they make for the rest of their lives and pretty much always have a good time. people are so attached to ip but imo you really gotta know the creators.

The road to healing is going to be a long one. Stay the course. You will make it, some day. Just remember that you've made it this far... and it's just a bit farther now. Let's finish this. I'm on your side.

I fear I'm becoming less attached to the gaming industry. It started feeling different since the mass layoffs of 2022 - I can't adjust.

I'm not leaving the community. I'm still following your projects and supporting indie development / devs.

I only need to take a break from this career.

I have been on the Sony/PlayStation team for more than a decade but after seeing their changes, it does not feel good having this console anymore. It has lost all value it had left.

There's no unique usage and no feel of nostalgia to keep it. Now it's just a white box collecting dust.

Finished watching Kimi no Na wa (君の名は。)for the first time.

I wish Makoto Shinkai knows he has a gifted brain and kept me from blinking once to not miss anything. I want to hang prints of every frame of this film on my walls. Wonderful art and story. 🌠

Videogames launch dates should be a justified reason to get days off at work.

We don't get a Military Logistics Simulator game everyday.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

I'm tired of seeing talented musicians using generated artwork for album covers & music videos or writers using it for their book covers. Generative tools harm the creative ecosystem as a whole.

Do not normalize the devaluing of anothers field while expecting the world to respect & value your own.

I really liked when the orange orb inside the green orb that had a copy of the orange orb in the white orb and the green of the orange orb and inside the orange orb inside the green I duplicated the green orb inside the green orb, then return to the purple orb with the white orb.

Two years ago today, we nervously released SIGNALIS after many years of development.
Never did I expect back then that people would still play, discuss and make fanart of our game 2 years later.
Thank you for playing SIGNALIS, for your kindness and for your lovely artworks.
