We shall not trust the fake news spreading, lying evil TV
Playing moral police and criticizing doesn’t always make someone stand out as smart. Often, it just makes someone look like a Grinch, desperately trying to get attention

In school kids learn to analyze and recognize mistakes and when they do that, it makes them smart. What YouTube reviewers/influencers don’t realize is that not everything is for everyone and criticizing a slasher horror flick for being inappropriately gory doesn’t make much sense at all

I didn’t like a joke? Maybe I’m not the target audience, not every single joke has to land for everyone. I dislike fart jokes, others might love them, perverted jokes land better for me than for others… there’s different genres for a reason

A character doesn’t get as much screen time as I’d hope? They’re not the main character, they might get an arc in the future, you can’t squeeze 10 flashed out character arcs within 8 short episodes, what we’ve seen might just be a teaser, some things are a show, don’t tell thing

My life’s been more fun since I stopped trying to criticize and nit-pick everything. Instead, I try to approach scenes I first find a little odd with an ounce of understanding and usually quickly can come up with reasons why something might have been done this way or that

People about Val: 🤬💀😠😡💢
People about Vox: 😤😩😫😖
People about Vel: 😟😔😥☺️

Meanwhile Vel is cooking up a date rape drug and Val’s squinting at the new bottle designs Vox makes him look at

They also made incredibly rude and ignorant comments about people struggling to gain weight O.o Not everyone who’s skinny has an eating disorder but pressuring skinny people with such generalizations really is not helping anyone

I really don't like character deaths so I'll be more than happy to not see the Vees permanently die. Partly, because I also feel like character deaths can be cheap and easy way outs. It also robs all chance of character development 😄

A true change of heart seems like a key point in redemption for me, which is why I’d love to see Val striving for it so much. He’d no longer be a danger, even if I can’t see redemption in the cards for him within the series timeframe
September 19, 2026 at 3:23 PM
Seeing the Vees change for the better is a really nice thing to see in fiction because it offers security, safety and “true change and turning harmless” in monsters that we can’t get in real life
September 18, 2026 at 11:46 PM
Some people might also just confuse “hey, the entire story is about redemption, let’s give the villain’s a chance with “excusing”. Would redemption of such brutal murderers and rapists work irl? Probably not. But this is about fictional demons in hell who have eternity to be dead for.
September 18, 2026 at 11:46 PM
People also love to see Val (and Vox) as irredeemable (in a story that’s all about mass murderers doing better - you can’t tell me Pentious didn’t at least accidentally kill other sinners in turf wars) while Velvette is made out to be an innocent victim of the guys despite making a date rape drug

Someone just offered a very valid and good explanation and it’s instantly shot down and disregarded… crazy to see so much ignorance and lack of compassion for people who are struggling with something that can affect people’s health physically and mentally
September 18, 2026 at 11:34 PM
“Just eat more” is as ridiculous to say as “just eat less” to someone who does eat little and exercises but still has underlying health issues. Not everything can be broken down to eating/not eating
September 18, 2026 at 11:29 PM
Being skinny is not nice. One has less reserves so when one does get sick and looses an appetite it’s even more of a challenge to keep the energy up. People get cold faster and they always have to worry about ignorant people accusing them of eating disorders
September 18, 2026 at 11:29 PM
This is a crazy insensitive post. I know plenty of people who want to gain weight and really struggle to do so despite not being overly tall and wanting to eat. There’s a lot of reasons why people can’t gain weight including auto-immune diseases ect.

I wouldn’t have minded weekly releases honestly. We were used to once a month so once a week would be great. It always gives people more time to talk about a show and explore the themes… then again, with the shorter release we can cancel our subscriptions faster again
September 17, 2026 at 3:49 PM
I wanna see the three of them suffer through good deeds, on a looooooong way to redemption/atonement. There’s just somethinh uplifting to seeing such villainous, toxic characters becoming harmless and no longer posing a risk and danger
September 10, 2026 at 7:26 AM
Representation matters, but people go through things differently and deal with things differently. Some in more or less subjectively “healthy/unhealthy” ways so it’s impossible to cater to everyone.

And if a very unique experience happens to be written, that’s okay too.

Fandoms as a concept are in general more adult spaces than they ever are kid spaces. Because if kids can’t handle certain content they have no business having social media accounts and engaging with strangers online
August 19, 2026 at 8:15 PM
Sure, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece whatever ect. are targeted at 12 year old boys but essentially those 12 year old kids grow up in 20+ years. And they’ll create art and write stories and that’s fine. Fandoms in general thrive off active members creating content and generally those are adults.
August 19, 2026 at 8:15 PM
You can’t just differentiate that. Kids grow up and will draw content for their fandoms. Fandoms grow up too. It’s crazy to think those people should then censor themselves just because new kids might come along. Take anime series that go on for a decade.
August 19, 2026 at 8:15 PM
Adults shouldn’t have to censor themselves in adult spaces like social media. Art is art and censuring that delves into dangerous territory. It’s parents jobs to monitor their kids habits. There’s no reason for 13 year olds to invade discord servers and having to be babysat by strangers

We might as well just admit we‘re too egoistical or uneducated to change. I‘m currently only vegetarian but used to be vegan. Veganism wasn‘t more expensive or unhealthy, quite the opposite. Just socially it was harder because people love making you feel like a burden
August 13, 2026 at 6:20 AM
This argument fails instantly because animals always require far more farm land than humans. Which in conclusion harms more humans and animals alike. We have to admit to knowing our eating habits are not ideal. The truth is uncomfortable but making easy to dismantle arguments doesn‘t help
