Eve, no atmosphere, fog, or clouds version. Deep red polar seas of liquid sulfur are surrounded by areas where the wind carries sulfur vapors where they deposit on the nearby land.

Eve. This one requires a lot of explanation, so a whole bunch of posts incoming, watch out. For the other KSP planets I redesigned thus far as part of this project (The Mun, Duna, Moho) I could just make them look like their real counterparts. But I wanted to avoid removing characteristic features.

Precisely this. I like space exploration in stories only but I'm actually strongly against manned space exploration and colonization in practice.

We don't need to leave Earth for a good future, and having kids on a space habitat will mean forcing them to live dependent on whoever's maintaining it.
One of my big hot takes is that the idea of humanity inevitably colonizing other planets was born of the projected overpopulation crisis 20th century writers worried about, and there's no actual reason to colonize beyond Earth in a world with declining populations
Actual CEO of a space company people actually invest in says "by the early 2030s" -- just 5 to 7 years from now -- there will be mines and factories and large human workforce on the Moon, such that we'll be able to see lights of the lunar city from our front porches

My toxic trait is assuming a "redox habitable zone" like that even exists at all and ignoring the fact that the S2 would probably just oxidize away sooner than the organic haze 😔

I'm actually just carrying blind dumb hope on this one

I'll just handwave and say that Eve's likely CO2 dominated atmosphere would not be too oxidizing for disulfur. Note: one might not normally think of CO2 as oxidizing since it's used to put out fires, but it can't coexist with methane without biotic sources of both and also becomes acidic in water.
Again, already stretching it a lot and that's ignoring the fact that sulfur burns/oxidizes to form various oxides. The atmosphere can't be too oxidizing or all the less stable S2 would just oxidize. But it also can't be too reducing or else the purple will be overpowered by orange organic haze.
So what I've got here is the liquid sulfur oceans produce S2 and S8 vapor, the S2 rises above the clouds and tints the upper atmosphere a slight purple while the heavier, yellow S8 stays below them. This would make Eve look purple from space but have a sort of yellow fog close to the oceans I think.

Disulfur (S₂) is an allotrope of sulfur that is a gas. It's unstable at standard conditions, but it becomes stable at high temperatures and low pressures. It is IMO the best candidate for a purple dye for Eve, since others like iodine are too reactive and would just get trapped up to form salts.
