Arsenal fan since 70s. I blame Pat Jennings, Liam Brady and latterly Arsene Wenger.

Max Dowman doing his reputation no harm with another great goal. Even Madueke scoring shows how easy it's been for Arsenal so far.
Ipswich defending so deep since conceding. Of course, they've had the odd breakaway, so always the chance they may score, but more likely Arsenal get a third, I think.

Even when we're not playing VAR manages to make decisions to our detriment.🙄
Man Utd have to play all action when it would have been more appropriate to play with patience with the extra man.
Nauseous the continuous camera panning to the Oasis multi millionaire masquerading as one of the fans..

So, Spurs finished 17th in 24/25, 17th in 25/26 & are currently 17th. Lost count of their managerial changes. They haven't scored a goal home or away this season.
Now.....can you imagine that was Arsenal? The media would explode.
That is why we are considered a big club & the Spuds a club to pity.

Arteta playing media. "I'm so unhappy".....referring to penalty decision. He knows how they drove narrative last season it was only Arsenal who pulled etc at corners when patently most teams did. He's saying if you call us up at corners, you've got to do it for every team or we're being victimised.
September 12, 2026 at 9:59 PM
VAR & media planting seed that it's only Arsenal who hold at corners. Karen Carney saying even Declan was holding when the picture clearly showed the forward was holding Roce at same time. So let's get this clear are we saying forward can hold & it's no problem but defender is penalised?
#Confused.

Bitter sweet for Newcastle fans that Bruno scores against Sunderland.
Arsenal really needed a player to take shots from distance like that.
For me when we need our strongest team he's a starter everyday ahead of Myles.

So if the attacking player pulls, holds and hauls the defender down at a corner, it's OK. But if a defender holds, it's a penalty. To me, that incident was as much a free out as a penalty.
I agree pulling and hauling needs to be stopped at corners, but it works both ways.

Sunderland got what they deserved. Arsenal showed they can battle if a team wants to play that way. Sunderland continually fouled and played direct, all effort, no class, football at home. Fair play to them, theyre good at it.
Hilarious it was the ex Newcastle player who shut the whinging crowd up.
September 12, 2026 at 9:00 PM
If that's a penalty, where the defender is clearly holding the players shirt, well, the game is over. They even tried their best to get the penalty retaken.
Justice was done by Raya saving it.
Guimaeras goal is a complete FO to Sunderland!

Saka still looks a bit restrained this season so far. Expect more from him tbh.
Big Gabby taking shot from outside the box should be an option we try more. Odegard will not always be able to unlock a low block, so shooting more has to be a priority. Surprising how little we do it.
September 12, 2026 at 8:01 PM
Sunderland consistently fouling to disrupt flow of the game. If this was Arsenal the commentators would be discussing it ad nausea and criticising. But no, not a peep. Its working hard apparently. Yes it is but it's also illegal.

8 o clock Saturday night game. Chinese or Indian takeaway? 🤔

But then Martin Odegard steps up to the plate....

Sky saying Arteta was given time whereas other club managers, assuming they mean United Chelsea, were not. No, fact is Arteta made managed progress, stabilising our club. United and Chelsea managers may have won a cup here and there but lost their jobs mostly because they didn't progress in PL.
September 8, 2026 at 3:19 PM
Just a reminder. We have Saliba and Timber to come back into this squad. Some squad strength.
Avoid injuries to our key creative players (Odegard, Havertz, and Saka) and we are going to be really competitive in all competitions.
September 8, 2026 at 3:04 PM
Don't dismiss Zubimendi & what he can contribute this season. Fans quickly forget how good he was most of last season. I hope Arteta can find him enough minutes to keep him happy. Second season in PL. He now knows what it takes & he'll get more rest. I expect him to show his class.
September 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM
Can't understand the criticism of Viktor Gyokeres. Yes, Havertz is the classier player, but last season he was mostly injured. Gyokeres stood up & was counted then when we needed him. He'll do the same this season if needed. There's a role for both in this team. Stop undermining our players. #COYG

A win over Chelsea would go a long way to redress the negative vibe surrounding the transfer window. Arteta is not the first manager to miss out on his ideal target and not the first Arsenal manager who was unhappy with the club's business the season after a title win. He'll get over it.
September 4, 2026 at 5:48 PM
Arsenal fans who think the club only existed since the PL or Wenger.....or worse since Alexis bloody Sanchez tend to piss me off. Read your history. We've had dark days and amazing days long before any of them came to ply their trade in North London.

Reading the tribute piece on official Arsenal website, highlighting his career highs with us, you can't help wondering why exactly did we let Martinelli go?
Ofcourse, we all know why. Money, innit.

The way we improve our attack from last year is by keeping the attackers we have injury free. D'oh!
