The first day of the season and an official in a top class game gets it totally wrong. Dragons player on the ground was tap tackled, juggled the ball to a colleague and it was called a knock on. WRONG! I turned off at this point and may well just cancel my last rugby TV subscription.

I tried to watch Wales v SA today and could not find it anywhere apart from the BBC Sport app on my mobile, and then it had no casting...

Apparently Vannes (who play Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau before every home game) have an annual budget of £28m. That's more than all Welsh pro rugby. The WRU should align themselves with an English and French club IMHO. £100m is peanuts to run a pro rugby nation unfortunately - not even a Gareth Bale....

It doesn't matter if it's Middlesex or Spirit or whatever. The MCC should put out its own sides and Middlesex CCC should be shut down IMHO. North London deserves better than this.

Watching the catch up with even Cardiff City stadium three quarters empty, it is clear that rugby is in a race to the bottom.
