This Fell beast in Rings of Power is an interesting take on the Howe style design. This one appears to be leucistic, or albino, and possesses fine quills.
Even if LOTR ROP always misses the mark of being a good rep of Middle Earth/Lord of the Rings/Tolkien, WETA always cooks.

I'm in an awkward spot where I like the Dragometer because a 10 point scale can feel silly, but it's designed to be used in batch rating, and I barely have time for rating one dragon every so often.
I may just need to forego a rating system, and let the analysis be the rating.

The Dragometer, for when a standard number rating feels inappropriate, it is a way to compare designs rather than strictly rate them. It's a relative rating system. Three dragons for the most favored, one isn’t bad, just least favorite. Inspired by the Slugometer of RR Slugger.

Did not know that there was an "Armies of Middle Earth" line for the Lord of the Rings movies. Just happened to find this for 15 bucks at a local toy fair. Have always wanted a Witch King's Fellbeast figure, makes me want the other one from this now, lol. Happy I found this one.

Moondancer is definitely in my top 5 for House of the Dragon dragon designs, I love her colors, stripes, and mohawk.
Seasmoke is a solid dragon design too, even if the colors are a lil boring, it still has that great foundation the Game of Thrones dragons built.

Vermithor and Silverwing are very cute. I like when media portrays dragons like this, they shouldn't always be monsters, they can just be animals too. Designs also looking good, sells the size and age well.
House of the Dragon gets this right at least.

Sheepstealer definitely changed designs between seasons.
Controversial, since I know he has fans, but I prefer the s2 design... a lot. Might have to review him early to contrast the two versions.
House of the Dragon does have good designs though.
