when i read people make "i'm a bad person but at least i'm honest about it" kind of remarks/confessionals, esp in rat spaces, i just feel like they're appealing to a certain kind of social capital and flavor of "virtuousness" rather than wanting to actively be a better person.

I just confirmed and I would really like some transparency on why @bsky.app is doing this. If I'm being charitable, I think we can assume they pull from some upstream database and some automated job included icepi.cx, but if not: I would love to know exactly who was responsible for this decision
