Irish Equity are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our colleague Brenda Fricker. Brenda’s career spanned six decades. In her many appearances on stage, film and television Brenda brought a truth, integrity and emotional complexity to all her roles.

So sad to report the death of dear Mary Golding (Carrickford). An accomplished singer and dancer, she was a doyen of Dublin Musical Theatre in the 1960s.

Irish Equity are deeply saddened and shocked at the sad news of the sudden passing of our colleague, Gary Lydon. Gary was a much-loved member of our community, with a career that began with his professional debut in Billy Roche’s ‘A Handful of Stars’ at the Bush
Theatre in London in 1988.
