Here's my take on SM:BND. You won't need as many Kleenex as you did for No Way Home. There was a few "in the feels" moments. Some parts made me really laugh. Enough call-backs to high school Peter to make me happy. And enough holes filled and threads left hanging for a MCU outing.

Seeing the news use phrases like almost 1000 days or more than 1000 days since the last budget bill made me think about Anne of a Thousand Days. And I am wondering, will we have a budget by September 9th?

Per the DTH: "NC House & Senate leaders...have come to an agreement." It includes a 3% "average" raise for state employees (& a $1750 bonus for employees under $65k/yr and $1k for over $65k). Also "none of these raises will be retroactive & would take effect when the budget it passed."
