Not when we know that these facial recognition systems when deployed in the real world rely on the exact same in built systemic biases, as do existing criminal profiles, as does the quality of biometric identification systems.

I would bet that if he weren't a posh man he would have been caught sooner, charged sooner, convicted, and imprisoned. He wouldn't have been allowed to evade justice for a decade and then opt out rather than face consequences for what seems to be a long running pattern of misogynistic assaults.
