and ofc this isn’t to say anything is wrong with trade school. it’s just literally a different thing.
Anyhow, universities aren’t trade schools. Someone with a bachelor’s degree should have some exposure to higher math, literature, art, music, philosophy, economics &c. There’s just a baseline you have to have to be educated instead of trained.

i was waitressing once and a customer asked if i was in school and what i was studying. i said math and he goes “oh yeah? well what did you learn in calc 2” i was like how do i even answer that. he revised to calc 3, which i said was calc 1 but in 3D and that was satisfactory i guess
