not to repeat myself but yeah, i just want them to announce it out of respect for the fans who have been waiting for years for a new installment after the neverending era of ports and new translations.
if it's a good game then I'd be even happier ! but i don't want to give myself too much hope lol

because all of them have something i enjoy, and if we got a new game i would play it and I'd probably enjoy it even if it's not as good as i want it to be ! but I can't pretend that I'm excited about it when it's not the truth... i just don't care anymore

it's not that I don't want the franchise to continue. i think the writers of aai + 5&6 did a pretty good job at writing good character interactions, and there are many things from 5&6 that i think had potential to be good if they were executed better. I like all aa games despite everything+

or maybe i can be hopeful that a new mainline game could be good, but i like to keep my expectations low atp

in any case, deep down i hope they announce aa7 someday as a way to resurrect the franchise, and after that we start getting prequels and spin offs. and a potential tgaa sequel or spin off maybe.
i would like that, even if we have to go through another shitty mainline game

like, ik at this point it's like they're making fun of the fans of an obviously successful franchise and I GUESS i want them to announce the game just to see that Capcom respects the franchise and its fans more than i want them to announce it because i want a new game lol
