On 9/11/01, I was working in an office building in center city, Philadelphia. We were told to evacuate early in the morning. My mom worked in the city as well and we drove home together. We listened to the news on the way, including a woman who called in live from a high floor in one of the towers.

What if those out of work applied for these jobs with no intention of actually doing any of the evil shit & just took $ away from ICE for as long as possible while also delaying a "real" hire? Directors could even possibly prevent some harm before they are potentially fired for not following orders.
pretty wild that ICE ERO is currently hiring Directors for 21 of its 25 Field Offices. must be some pretty severe turnover!
