Richard Tice says it's "arrogant" to try and stop the climate emergency and "when it's a bit warm, let's enjoy it".

Tell that to the people living in the 19 homes destroyed by wildfires in Stourbridge.

Or to the families of the more than 2,800 people who have died in this summer's extreme heat.

When we value a carer, who cares for our mum, who washes her, reassures her and makes her comfortable, more than someone who dumps shit in our rivers and screws as much money as they can out of their customers, maybe we’ll be getting somewhere.

Reform's Zia Yusuf had claimed the state was "providing no protection whatsoever" to the party's MPs.

In fact, Nigel Farage had been offered a package that would have given him the same level of protection as Kemi Badenoch - but he turned it down.

Oh fuck off. Funding for everything is inadequate!!

Schools, NHS, public transport, infrastructure investment, public sector pay, road maintenance, mental health provision, social care etc etc
It’s all bloody inadequate thanks, in large part, to YOUR Brexit costing the country £100bn a year.
Farage refused taxpayer-funded security because it was ‘inadequate’
Reform UK decided to continue providing its own protection for Nigel Farage, rather than ‘gamble with his life’, a spokesperson said

The UK’s economic challenges will not disappear with a change of prime minister. While we look inwards and maintain our Brexit red lines nothing will change.

Rejoining the SM and a CU would be a positive start to a new chapter. The alternative is continuing stagnation giving fuel to the far right.

If Burnham doesn’t get rid of Labour's Brexit red lines he has failed before he starts.

(I’m assuming he will become PM quickly and without a competition)

Ten years ago today the whole country and its future were sacrificed on the altar of Boris Johnson’s ego, David Cameron’s stupidity and Nigel Farage’s prejudice.
A decade thrown away and a nation left angrier and poorer.

Thanks, you absoute pricks.

Sane UK parties must act. I’m sick of hearing:

- “Brexit wasn’t implemented properly”. It was!
- “The “people” chose”. A small majority TEN years ago.

Brexit won before the US elected a maniac as President! Time to rejoin the EU, to hell with the far right.
Two-thirds of EU citizens back UK rejoining bloc, survey finds
Poll also finds three quarters of people in Britain want closer ties, with majority accepting free movement
