Aww yeah! Costco's pumpkin pies are back!

I used to enjoy game announcements more.

Mostly, I think I've been burned by too many bad releases. I'm more likely to enjoy an indie game that gets little to no coverage.

I MADE A QUESTIONABLE DECISION! 😃

I bought Pokemon Legends ZA on sale!

Time to see it for myself. At least I'm going in with low expectations. I expect it to be about lots of trainer fights with interesting mechanics in a mostly boring city. With occasionally good dialog.

Oh. Diablo V, huh? It feels like Diablo IV wasn't that long ago...probably because I didn't play it much. 😅

I don't remember anything TOO bad about it (by the time I picked up a copy), but it never hook me? It didn't feel like 3. (My entry point to the series.) I just gravitated toward other games.

I am READY for fall! Bring on the leaves, the cool temperatures, pumpkin everything!

It didn't seem like this summer was so much worse than usual, but dang, I couldn't sleep some weeks! The house never seemed to cool. (I hear that a lot of the country had unusually high nighttime temps this year.)

DANG, that was a good Nintendo Direct though! And right on the heels of Zelda: OoT remake footage!

Looking forward to replaying Starfox Adventures.
I'll be pre-ordering Metroid Ravenous.
I'll be watching Kirby: WB closely for more details.
More Pokopia Pokemon on the way! (+squirtle in sunglasses)

Dang. I don't want to have multiple social networks. I might need to have multiple social networks.

Probably time to spin up Element, is it? Matrix? I've heard those tossed around for a while. Might give 'em a try. Might even self-host - if I'm going a geekier route. And look into Bluesky's API.

I have my gripes with Nintendo. Big ones... But dang, they know how to make games.
September 9, 2026 at 2:47 PM
Oh, dang! Open-world Kirby?! INTERESTING!

Metroid Ravenous! Let's gooooo!

Just a few months away too!

They did the thing!

AWWW YEEEAAH! I'm going to be starting a new Starfox Adventure playthrough!

That Ocarina of Time remake is looking SO GOOD! I hope it's complete on cart. I want a physical copy!

Dang...I want that Zelda Switch 2...but I don't think I'll be able to justify spending $550 or whatever for it.

...but hey, at least there's an ugly pro controller for cheaper... 😩

Saw Coyote Vs Acme. That was fun! Good story! Didn't make the Coyote or Roadrunner talk - thank goodness! Didn't hit any of the pitfalls I'd feared.

Anything more might venture into spoiler territory...but that was a breath of fresh air! Will buy the blu-ray.

Dang! Catching up on D&D news, that's some crazy stuff! AI, requiring employees to dead-name themselves, a union formed, the WotC CEO fired, and now it looks like Hasbro may be hiring a full replacement D&D team in preparation for closing down WotC. And no one will be left to push back.

Still digging OpenSCAD - learning it a bit at a time. It's not the FASTEST way to get this project done, but it's sure a lot of fun - poking around a new language again.

I have a feeling that I'll be using it a lot - as time goes on. Most of what I print is functional, and this seems GREAT at that!

I've been continuing Slay the Spire II. It's fun, as always, but I feel like I'm hitting a wall. I can't tell if it's because it's harder than the first game, or if I just need to git gud.

The necro especially. It FEELS like that one should be GREAT, but things rarely click so far. Maybe it's luck.

Ooo! It's half-decent out tonight! I'd love if we're reaching the half of the year I can keep my windows open.

Fixed a big pot of ravioli. (Sauce from scratch, ravioli from the freezer section.)

Just hearing about the discovery that water appears to have multiple liquid states with different properties. (And it appears that liquid water is constantly switching which state it's in.) Fascinating!

Warmer water appearing to be denser is particularly interesting! (Though that really does track)

Dang. How is everyone affording therapy?

I've heard a lot of people around me claiming to benefit from it. I've been told that I should try it. I've been mulling it over and have some things I think I could work on. I'm curious to try it.

I definitely don't have a spare $150-200/wk though!

You have no idea how many political rants I type on here, only to reach the end...take a breather...and delete.

I'm tryin' here. It's not healthy to be angry all the time, and this site's already full of that content - from more eloquent people than I.

I long for normal days.

Man, today was stressful! I want to get out and hike!
*steps outside*
*hits the wall of heat and water*
*runs back to the air conditioner*

Indoor de-stressing it is! Maybe I'll do a puzzle or something... Or see what's good on the Steam Deck.
