100% agree. My brother and I attended two set champs and we each got a 2nd place mat, and it's weird knowing that won't be possible in the next set. And it'll be difficult for those who prefer the mats without "CHAMPION" across the top. Maybe they will go back? Unlikely, but I'm not saying never!

Interesting! I do think the Doc inclusion might be worth it, but I'm fairly certain Gantu will be a must in this deck. It struggled way too much with Red/Blue and Steelsong last set, and I think Gantu gives it that chance. It all will definitely need some play-testing!

Great question, and that’s something we were talking about ourselves. I don’t quite think it will fully replace Ice Block, but 2 of each might be the move. With how much you’re inking each turn with this deck, AND the fact that it’s inkable, I wouldn’t be surprised if that ratio changes though.
