Its been 43 years since the Sixers have won a title. Lebron chasing a ring here makes this theory even more plausible.

What if he is a big time narcissist? Which is kinda possible
But what if the sole reason he wore 23 was to make people forget about Jordan.
And what if his reason for joining the Lakers, was take Kobe's place in Laker royalty?

Its been 43 years since the Sixers have won a title. Lebron chasing a ring here makes this theory even more plausible.
Here's what makes Peralta a bad deal:
He is a FA to be. Stearns could have waited to sign him in the off-season. Instead, gave up two prospects for a guy whose contract is up.
So
A- Peralta is resigned and overpaid
B- He walks, and the #Mets are left without him, and the prospects
