Per last repost, I do think that in the US a lot of people, like a LOT of people, do not realize that if a birth certificate is no longer proof of citizenship then most of us have no proof of citizenship. At all.

About Trump v. Barbara: Do not give the Court and the CJ credit for reading and upholding the Constitution. It's a travesty that this is not a unanimous decision... it's also a travesty that the Court let this question percolate for a year, giving credence to a crank theory of citizenship.

I agree with this, but, and this is important, I really also wish we had listened to the law students who spoke out about his sexual harassment, and about his wife (Amy Chua) enabling and threatening those who also spoke out about it.

I’m pretty sure winning a slam dunk lawsuit against this criminal extortion would have been cheaper than dropping $60m during a bad budget crunch. They didn’t cave to pressure. They collaborated with the regime and sold out their students and staff.
