Same, but creative writing, a field that largely and explicitly rejects GenAI because it steals writing from almost every human that publishes, and because it's antithetical to the point and joy of reading and creating literature and being a human being.
I teach history. That's my profession. That's what I'm trained in, that's what I was hired to train students in. That's what all my experience and interest is in.
I don't know a thing about AI and I don't want to. So if you want to teach AI, go teach AI in your own fucking classroom.

The context is "why don't you use AI" and I support this answer. In my field, working through the decisions and the why underpinning decisions is the work and the training and the value you can bring. Offloading this to AI will hamstring you.
Because in a history course, my job is to teach students how to read sources themselves, how to analyze them themselves, how to write about them and craft arguments themselves.

I don’t understand how people can run for office knowing they have insane baggage and/or crimes.
