I am a Rules Engineer, not a Rules Lawyer.

I know how to improvise to shorten the way. An Ersatz Haderach, if you will.

It’s so damn cold, my drivers side window froze shut.

Dammit, I just got the Coffee of Doom/Mood Coffee bit in Questionable Content

At least it wasn't "Mood fo' Coffee"

Took advantage of un(?)seasonably warm days to bike twice this week. Rides that were figurative walks in the park in October have kicked my ass

I leaned hard on the ebike. I normally only use it on 3 or 4 hills but it did a lot today on the return trip

The teen descendant has claimed my old Levi jean jacket I was given as a teen in 1986.

I am happy it goes on adventures again and somewhat worried that there's some leftover mischief hiding in the pockets.

This is the only valid way to anthromophosize a digital assistant
If you're going to ask an AI like ChatGPT questions, I have one favor to ask:

Please anthropomorphize the AI.

Imagine a college freshman who has read a great many things, but is inexperienced, insecure, and willing to make things up to try and sound more knowledgeable than they are.

A mom just came in SO EXCITED to find a map store bc her son would LOVE it.
She tries to be coy. "My son is... Really into maps. Real special kid."

I'm like, ma'am, this is a map store. Half my customers are on the spectrum. I have a trains and transit section. You're among friends.

I just rediscovered the dopamine hit from someone responding positively to a post. Fortunately I spend way too much time living in my own head to truly be thirsty for likes.

My like-farming is not dissimilar from an investment strategy based on checking winter coat pckets for money.

I wonder if now that rich old white guys are getting shot if it is time to discuss gun control.

No? Ok, guess we'll
keep discussing the failures of our health care and some variant of "eat the rich"

In a typically-out-of-touch non-twist, NYT considers it a twist that people who cheered Kyle Rittenhouse killing protesters also cheer when hated rich guys are killed

Okay I think you are ready for this BlueSky. Let's talk cheese history.

More specifically, Yorkshire Dales cheeses, and how WW2 and rationing almost wiped out cheesemaking in northern Britain.

This is the story of the near-death of the world of one of the world's great cheeses: Wensleydale. /1 🧵
a cartoon character in a suit and tie is pointing at the camera and saying cheese .
Alt: animated gif: wallace from wallace and gromit being very excited about cheese.

How much of a nerd am I? Here's one of my covid-distraction books.

Thought I lost it in an office move in 2021. Think I read 2 pages of it before it vanished. Found it hiding behind a poncho in my trunk today.

I love this story (I can absolutely hear Ursula's battlecry), but I think the title for Most American Thanksgiving Ever has to be awarded to Gallusrostromegalus. I laughed so hard when I read it I almost passed out because I couldn't breathe.

Watching Taylor Tomlinson approach election day is like watching a found footage horror movie. They all looked so happy because they don't know yet that axe murderer is already in the house.....
