Absurd. We've shown for thousands of years we can manage fine without data centres and we can go on managing without them.
Cato in Fife, Aurelius in Lanarkshire, and Rufus in East Ayrshire: three AI data centres proposed by ILI Group for Scotland. Together they would occupy around 215 hectares, nearly as large as the entirety of Holyrood Park. All of it greenfield and home to a rich tapestry of animals.
