Call for Papers: Coloniality of the modern state - REPI - Recherche et Etudes en Politique Internationale
This call for papers seeks contributions that engage with the following central questions: Can the modern state function as an instrument of decolonization? Or, as Audre Lorde suggested, can the master’s tools ever dismantle the master’s house? What can we learn from decoloniality as plural horizons of liberation, beyonde state-seeking naitonalisms?

At the InnPeace Roundtable, @jansun.bsky.social used South (Iraqi) Kurdistan and Rojava to show how modern nation-states map the world as a battlefield shaped by colonial violence, urging peace beyond the state through plural, autonomy-based coexistence free from domination.

Student mobilisation strongly shakes the political Outlook in turkey, once again. And it has almost nothing to do with the organised “opposition”, apart from Imamoglu’s imprisonment being trigger.

Many make similar points, without considering the process how we've come here. There was a year long process during which letters have been exchanged, meetings held and positions clarified among actors, resulting in this call. It should've beeen public, but it doesn't mean there is no pre-set agenda
He says the Turkish parliament should now take steps, but what steps? Nothing specific has been publicly promised
