After quite a bit of uncertainty about whether it would actually happen—largely due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East making travel difficult—I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be presenting (remotely) at the AFPP 2026 conference in Manchester next month.
Across two pre-registered experiments (N = 2,405), participants with sceptical views engaged in brief, multi-turn dialogues with ChatGPT.
We found that these conversations reduced misinformation beliefs, increased policy support, and lowered confidence in anti-wind views.
