The changes to the Canada Labour Code in this new bill are “without precedent in Canadian law and they’re without precedent even amongst our trading partners in the G7.”

“It provides the complete and unlimited discretion to the federal minister to decide who gets to go on strike and who does not.”

“I love the inflation.”
—Donald Trump, June 10, 2026
Q: Are you concerned about the latest inflation numbers that came out this morning?

TRUMP: No, I love it. I love the inflation. You know why? Because as soon as this war is over -- do you know we've been taking out millions of barrels of oil? You know who doesn't know? Iran until right now.

This is the second time this has happened.

CBS News's Investigative unit got a retired ICE agent to break down the Good shooting frame-by-frame. On the record, he said the agents were entirely out of line. The piece was only posted online and never broadcast.

He didn't answer the question. He's looking forward to campaigning in an unnecessary referendum, and unwilling to criticize the premier for threatening the very national unity he claims he will defend. Coward.

With gerrymandering concerns rising in Alberta, this animation shows how proportional representation solves the problem.

Under our current system, lines dictate results. With a proportional system, voters get the representation they chose, regardless of how the map is drawn.

It is very easy to become accustomed to Trump’s ravings, and laugh them off. That’s a dangerous thing to do.

When Trump states: “A whole civilization will die tonight,” he is threatening to commit genocide.

We can’t allow that to happen. Congress must end this war NOW.

A reminder that, under first-past-the-post, the 60 MPPs who voted no represent only 40% of voters, while the 40 MPPs who voted yes represent 60% of voters.

Canada needs proportional representation.

Stephen Lewis has gone to the angels. He was a relentless fighter for justice. When I was 9 my Granny (an immigrant mining widow) made me sit in front of the TV and listen to him speak about compensation for mining victims.
His passion and commitment stayed with me.

Monstrous racist. Still astounds me, even after more than ten years of relentless repetition. Just the worst person imaginable to be president.

12.7M acres of solar is is about 82% of the solar required to decarbonize the US in the Net Zero America E+ scenario (there's wind and existing nuclear and stuff in there too, but that's the solar portion).

Or we can have 5% of our gasoline displaced.
The Farm Bureau estimates that a year-round increase from E10 to E15 (15% ethanol blend in gasoline) would increase US corn demand by 2.4 billion bushels a year.

Latest yields per USDA are 188.8 bushels/acre, so growing it requires another 12.7 million acres. That’s about half the size of Indiana.

New York Dems are reportedly still expected to push for a constitutional amendment that would let them redraw the congressional map in 2028 to counter GOP gerrymanders. Dems could target 3-4 seats currently held by GOP.

Dems must pass it both in 2026 & 2027, then win voter approval in November 2027

They raided the jailed children to steal their letters.

The problem, in federal officials' minds, wasn't confining children in prison-camp conditions; it was that the children could tell the public about it.
