If tariffs are so bad for the economy/globalism… could they have a *glimmer* of silver lining for degrowth?
Ie. Reducing consumption (albeit regressive), localizing supply chains, and reducing export of fossil fuels?

Going to Union is a 1hr 20 min drive from my house (about 120kms). But takes 5 hours by Transit. At least our transit is competitive with cycling. Gosh I miss the way Europe has infrastructure.

What happens when large swaths of the country are no longer eligible for home insurance for natural disasters. And then natural disasters happen leaving large swaths of the country unhoused and broke?
