Keep your whimsy. Even if it makes you look "cringe". Just cause you're older doesn't mean you have to drop things you liked as a kid or still enjoy. We lose so much of ourselves cause of fear of judgment but you will realize that noone really gives a fuck in the long run. Allow yourself happiness.

Get used to long grass. It retains soil moisture through dry periods, provides habitats for insects and seeds for birds to eat, and encourages biodiversity in plantlife. Lawns are so last century.

A little while ago, my parents' cat Bridget went missing. As the weeks dragged on, they became extremely worried. My dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time and popping up in some of art and music's most iconic scenes.
