Thinking today about how we should bring back the divide there used to be between fans and creators/producers/artists. I just realized that "cringe" is the substitute for "gay" as an insult.
Think about it. In the 2000s we had smug assholes saying "That's so gay." But now that they can't do that anymore without being called out for homophobia, they say "cringe" instead.
