I just read T said, " “There’s nothing illegal. There’s nothing wrong with it I could know," in reference to him profiting $1.4 billion in crypto/bribes since he became president. If he's right, and I don't know that he is, Congress (this one or the next one) had better work hard to make it illegal!

If Trump were smart, he wouldn't fight the Supreme Court and he'd let the tariffs lapse. That way, the economy would rebound (tariffs are horrible economic policy) and at the same time he could blame the Supreme Court for any residual effects from his tariff policy. Of course, he's not smart ...

What I don’t understand is, since he controls Congress, why didn’t Trump just get Congress to approve his tariffs? He keeps talking about taking these extraordinary measures—why can’t they just do it the right way?

There are far more voters than ICE agents. People should plan to stay at their polling place all day. Make it a party. Meet your neighbors. Talk politics. Gather food trucks. Make it a safe place for voters who are nervous. ICE agents always back off when they are outnumbered.

This giant ICE Army they are building this year is also likely to be at polling places during the midterms in heavily Democratic precincts with the excuse being that they are looking for “illegals trying to vote.”
