Once again many children completed the Summer Reading Scheme, receiving medals and certificates

If you’re anti-RNLI save yourself the bother - block me now

My Dad - former Royal Navy - was such a strong supporter of #RNLI we had his name painted onto the side of a RNLI lifeboat to commemorate him

Everyone who serves in the RNLI is a hero, risking their lives for others

Delighted to report that my brilliant Ward Colleague Cllr Julie Jones has tonight been selected as Labour’s Candidate for Whoberley Ward in May 2027

Pervez and I really enjoy working with Julie, and can’t wait to start campaigning for her once again

Congratulations to everyone getting GCSE and BTEC results today

I hope you got what you wanted. But if you didn’t, remember that life is a marathon not a sprint - keep going !

If you’re honestly more annoyed about your phone making an alarm noise, than with idiots causing wildfires, you might need a word with yourself

Thinking of everyone in the Fire Service, and the crucial work you do. Thank you

It’s A Level, BTEC and T Level results day

Wishing everyone receiving them the very best of luck 🍀

But don’t forget - life is a marathon, not a sprint. And sometimes following your dreams takes you on unexpected journeys

Fab evening yesterday with Matt at #GameOfThrones prequel #TheMadKing by the RSC in Stratford Upon Avon

No spoilers - but especially loved the staging, the puppets (!) and seeing Callum Woodhouse as a key character

Welcome to Westeros !

Proud that our MP, Taiwo Owatemi has done so much to have Keaton Slater’s accused extradited to UK

Taiwo fought so hard for this extradition, to give the Slater family justice

Just in from a fab holiday in the Scilly Isles with Matt and Greg. Stayed on St Mary’s and Bryher, with cheeky visits to St Agnes for swimming off my favourite Sandbar too

Matt and I flew Skybus from Lands End, whereas Greg (who has better sea legs) opted for the Scillonian

The mental image of someone checking their Ring doorbell and then Count Binface appears has absolutely sent me.
The latest one is how he had a baby and how he will neglect his children to campaign as a comedy character. Guys?! He doesn’t campaign? He literally turns up on the night. Just trying thinking about it for more than two seconds. Do you think he goes door knocking with his head in a bin?
