For 33 years, McConnell has voted against family and medical leave for working Americans. Then he disappears from the Senate for 92 days and keeps collecting his full paycheck. Apparently, paid leave is only a problem when someone else gets it.

House Dems should stay behind and go live on YouTube with a 24 hour marathon of nothing but a rotation of senators and reps talking about how Mike Johnson sent everyone home early, the failures of today's GOP, today’s cancelled votes, and what it's costing their constituents

In Alligator Alcatraz, detainees were forced into small outdoor cages for hours at a time.

In Camp East Montana, detainees report beatings from guards and denial of medical care.

In Delaney Hall, detainees report unsafe drinking water and retaliatory abuse for speaking up.

Unimaginable cruelty.

New in PN: Retire in peace

"McConnell would never be allowed to drive a car, babysit young children, or file his own taxes. Why, then, should a cognitively incapacitated 82-year-old retain one of the most important positions of power within the national government?"
Retire in peace
McConnell is the latest example of an incapacitated politician refusing to let go.

Big news: The family of Tierra Walker, who died after she couldn't get an abortion, is suing a slate of Texas actors in state court, including AG Ken Paxton. They say the state ban is unconstitutional.

This is the first suit of its kind.

Tierra Walker died after she couldn’t get an abortion. Her family is suing Ken Paxton
The case, filed Tuesday, argues that Texas’ near-total abortion ban violates the state and U.S. Constitutions, which “prohibit state actors from killing their citizens.”

The biggest political obstacle in Texas is voter apathy.

About HALF of voting-age Texans didn’t vote in 2024. Republicans won the votes cast, but they didn’t win a majority of voting-age Texans.

Texas is red, but turnout is a HUGE part of that story.

So let’s FLIP Texas. 🔥

Trump called into a local television station a few hours after the 9/11 attacks and said he watched the explosion from his Trump Tower window more than four miles away.

Yesterday, he said he was pulled from Ground Zero that day by first responders.

He’s a blatant, pathological liar.
Watch Trump falsely suggest he was pulled from Ground Zero on 9/11.

Talarico organized a grocery drive for Texans. What did Paxton do? He was busy schmoozing with GOP big-wigs. Talarico understands the needs of Americans. He is the clear choice for Texas. This November, tell Paxton to go home, permanently.
