Fine you can argue semantics, but Morris plays on the wing, and so do the others. I get this is a hill you’re willing to die on, but the fact remains that roster has been overloaded with players who can fill the winger role. Why we haven’t bolstered the defensive midfield is the real mystery.

Morris hasn’t been effective at striker all season. He’s a true winger.
Ferreira played as winger almost exclusively for us.
PDLV and Arriola were set to return from injury shortly after transfer windows.

lol. With Morris, Ferreira, PDLV, Arriola & Rothrock, Sounders have 5 starting caliber wingers on the roster. Would you really sign a 6th just in case 4 of them get injured? Lunacy to plan for that to happen. Dmid is a much more urgent need.

Georgi had one good season. Now? xA is like 0.14-0.16. He is great at 1v1 but not at actual chance generation.
