Every time I think I could not appreciate Paula Penfold more, something like this happens - the whole article is *chef’s kiss*.

This is what holding candidates to account for the things they say while very clearly posting as a political party candidate looks like - thank you Paula for this mahi.
I asked Elizabeth Mundt for an interview.

She did not respond.

Instead, she put a video on Facebook describing me as the "lady" who did the Fire and Fury documentary and that I am "probably not the person" she wanted interviewing her about abortion.
A political candidate says a topic has ‘haunted’ her for years. We fact check her claims

Not only that, but the changes include the temporary jobseeker that many students - WHO ARE STUDYING FULL TIME - rely on to tide them over during the summer between semesters WHEN STUDENT ALLOWANCE STOPS!!!

This will place enormous pressure on students and families alike.
Genuinely a bit amazed by how staggeringly tone deaf this is. Like I don't expect the Government to fully acknowledge the scope of the situation they've created, but this is still pretty out there.

Youth unemployment is at 30-year high, and he's all like "just find a job"
Watch: Christopher Luxon defends cuts to benefits for youth
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has defended tightening eligibility for jobseekers benefits for young people and encouraged them to do "whatever it takes" to get a job.

Once you get used to the European mandated design for plastic bottle caps remaining attached to the bottles, it just make so much sense and is now weird when you open up a bottle back home and the cap isn't attached.
