Not “mind-boggling.” Trump has made our once-beloved country an unwelcoming place and an unsafe place for foreign visitors.
Visitors to the US are on track to drop by almost two million year-on-year.

“We’re the only major country in the world losing visitation,” the head of the US Travel Association said. “It’s mind-boggling.”

Honestly we should be adopting and adapting social programs from around the world that work best. The Netherlands’s healthcare system, France’s work/life balance (35hr full time work week), worker protections, European tech privacy laws, etc., etc. I think we’d like it if we just tried it.

Never been to the opera before?
Now’s your chance. We’re giving away 70,000 free tickets to the @metopera at the iconic Lincoln Center. Go to on.nyc.gov/opera to enter the lottery. There’s not a bad seat in the house.

A third of today's Americans are too young to have any memory of 9/11.

For them, the 9/11 Memorial is making a new digital learning experience available starting tomorrow.

We said we'd never forget—and part of that charge is making sure the next generation remembers too.

People come to New York City from all over the world to experience Broadway. The kids who grow up here should be able to do the same.

We’re partnering with TDF to give away over 2,000 free Broadway tickets to NYC High School students at on.nyc.gov/broadway.

We hope this new Chicago Public Library branch at the Obama Presidential Center will be a place where folks come to read, check out books, and connect with one another for years to come.

Juneteenth marks the celebration of America's second independence day.

Like the people in this photo—Texans celebrating Juneteenth in 1900—we know that progress hasn't made our union perfect. But we can recommit to reaching toward that more perfect union together.

Happy Juneteenth.
