And this is not a limitation of LLMs that can be solved by feeding them more data - as far as I can see, it is a permanent structural limitation of technologies of this kind

LOST really broke a bunch of people's brains which ironic because the lesson I learned from LOST was "great television can come from watching people make absolutely terrible decisions that they know even as they are making them are terrible"

My eye misread the first "plate" in "Pacific Plate" as "Plato" and I was v confused/excited for about a half a second

I don't do connections any more but I think a big part of it is dividing all sixteen of the words into four groups. If you have a set of words A1 A2 A3 A4 B1 etc to D3 D4, and you find that you can put A2 B1 B2 D3 into a group that makes sense, that will leave you with B3 and B4 to match up somehow

"Made a bajillion dollars" and "never gets talked about" and "came out after you had done significant design work on Dresden" is such a small overlap on the Venn diagram that I can't guess what game you're talking about and even though it's tangential to your point it bugs me now
