Funny how we're always told we can't afford healthcare for everyone.. but somehow there's always money for everything else.

Nolan Xavier Wells should still be here. His family should be making memories with him, not mourning him. We refuse to let the world move on.

The outrage against Flock is justified, and we must keep up the same pressure to make sure elected officials don't turn to other surveillance companies like Axon that provide the same technology.

Our fight isn't about one company, it's about protecting our rights from 24/7 government surveillance.
Cities Are Ditching Flock, Immediately Replacing It With Axon License Plate Readers
Rather than get rid of ALPR cameras entirely, many cities and towns are switching to Axon, whose cameras can be mounted to an existing streetlamp, helping them blend into their surroundings.

A system where a handful of people start with everything and tell everyone else to "just work harder" isn't meritocracy. It's inequality dressed up as opportunity.

We shouldn't have to wonder whether the food at our grocery store is safe. Public health protections exist for a reason, and gutting them puts all of us at risk.

A major win for accountability and human dignity!
After more than 3,000 complaints of medical treatment, food, water quality, and other conditions, a federal judge has ruled that WA health inspectors must be allowed inside Tacoma’s immigrant detention center.

Depriving people of medical care isn't a bug of ICE detention — it's a feature.

As the Trump administration doubles down on its mass deportation agenda, ICE is routinely violating peoples' rights in detention.
From festering infections to untreated cancer, ICE detainees across the US describe medical neglect
Immigrant detainees across at least 33 states allege in court documents that the government is failing to provide them with adequate medical care.

People who are detained at Delaney Hall have spent months receiving expired food filled with maggots, being denied medical care and experiencing cruel treatment from guards.

Make no mistake: This is a direct result of President Trump's cruel anti-immigrant policy.
Expired food, neglected medical care and hunger strike allegations fuel protests at N.J. ICE facility

NOW: B52 bombers are literally in the air on their way to Iran and hundreds of thousands of Iranians are in the streets waving flags and surrounding bridges & power plants.

Difficult to imagine this has any precedent in modern warfare.
