The action of “writing code” had changed dramatically over the last 50 years. I sometimes wonder if we have been so blinded by HLL that we’ve forgotten what lies under all of that?

Fundamentally, I’m not any more scared about AI writing my code than I am about a compiler interpreting my HLL code.

Your regular reminder that if not for the Trump and Bush tax cuts, federal revenues would keep pace with federal spending indefinitely.

Instead, these tax cuts have added at least $10 trillion to the debt.
