Saw Toy Story 5 with the fam. Pixar's five for five with this series, IMO. This one's modest in its ambitions, but the gags are perfectly calibrated, especially when they jump from "the real world" to the imaginary space of children's playtime. I'm glad they gave Joan Cusack/Jessie the spotlight.

Every year people would groan at whoever was hosting the Oscars and beg them to do away with having a host at all. Then Conan showed up and I haven't seen a single person complain about it since. Keep him on for as long as he wants to keep doing this, he's The Guy.

Matt Braly has revealed that his scrapped Sony Pictures Animation has been saved by a Thai studio called Monk Studios who helped do some work on both Wish Dragon and Ne Zha 2 and will be named Afterworld. Man, I have not been this hyped to see a revival since Nimona. So happy!

Do I like Caine’s character? A lot.
Episode 8 of The Amazing Digital Circus left me speechless… Caine is the kind of character who straddles the line between antagonist and likable character—one with whom (rather ironically, given that he’s an artificial being) you can identify.

Can you imagine how many problems we could solve if some people put the energy and rage they have towards anything Disney does into real-world issues that actually matter? It’s wild how they think that this makes them the heroes of their own narrative.
Found out someone recently started a Change Dot Org petition, asking Disney to cancel "Toy Story 5"...a film that opens in three months and is already being heavily marketed to the public.
