INCREDIBLE work, I'm pretty amazed!

Sorry, that's not what I wanted to imply. I was just trying to explain the point of the meme using a general "you", not you specifically. (The character limit is killing me)

You miss the point.

Cheap, short and ugly games can be great; expensive, long and pretty games can be horrible. AAA has nothing to do with quality and everything to do with making pointlessly expensive shit for the sake of "luxury". You can enjoy that, but you are NOT representing ALL gamers here.

Google Translate is not genAI, but it is an AI.

I agree GPT will make his English worse over time. It's counterproductive to learning.

I only want you to see that you're not just criticizing a CEO, but also bashing on millions of regular ESL speakers for using tools that (they think) help them.

Non-native English speakers commonly use online tools "as a crutch". Google Translate and Search are AIs too.

No ESL speaker in the last 20+ years goes without using "crutches" for our writing. You're judging harsh something you don't really understand. No amount of learning can make anyone native.

I agree, code is not art, and art should always be 100% handmade.

In this context, I meant that *even at the experimentation stage*, a skilled artist would probably immediately throw out most of the output as completely worthless and only keep a fraction of it for their moodboard.

Yes, this looks to me like a failure of the interviewer : (

I completely agree with you otherwise, but I dislike when people go "ohno computers use *gasp* resources!" as if this wasn't an economic issue. Using AI as a toy is one thing, but used as a tool it('s supposed to) bring humanity more benefits than costs. (That's ofc ignoring other ethical problems)

I'm a software developer, and when I use AI to generate code, 98% of time I get back total garbage. It requires my own SKILL to recognize the 2% of genuinely useful stuff it spewed out. I imagine it's the same for artists. No professional will use any AI output directly without questioning.

Yooo, that would be very hype to watch! Fingers crossed, Blue, you deserve this 💙

Old games: "Here's a manual to our game!"
New games: "Ha, our game doesn't even need a manual!"
Tunic: "The manual is a game."
