Just my disjointed thoughts on the Boston Red Sox. Probably wrong a lot.
Good lord this umpire is dreadful

I'm a broken record, but the Sox broadcast is just so so bad.
April 28, 2026 at 12:47 AM
Why is Roman shaking his head after a called strike in a 2-0 count with runners on first and second? Challenge if you don't like it!
April 28, 2026 at 12:17 AM
11-17 and people are celebrating like it's the World Series. What happened to the club I love
April 26, 2026 at 8:21 PM
My cope here is that this is all a front to show new CBO candidates that ownership will actually side with them every once in a while. No idea how that could be true but that's where I'm at.

This is like Trumpism. Major red Sox Twitter accounts could do nothing but complain about the roster all year. Now it's good again. Goebbels ideal subjects
Tribalism is a disease and if you can't see through your fandom to see issues then you might have an issue. Red Sox fans ability to rewrite history to make themselves feel better is second to none. Now Cora was never a good manager. Got it.
April 26, 2026 at 5:16 PM
Passan was the very first to run with the "Breslow was actually smart for trading Devers" BS and now he's on ESPN parroting the teams talking points. What a nasty individual
April 26, 2026 at 4:44 AM
So many arguments out there for firing Cora. Some warranted, some not.

Absolutely 0 arguments for Craig keeping his job.

Interesting.
April 26, 2026 at 2:23 AM
Nobody has been more vindicated than the people that quit on this team February 4, 2020.
April 26, 2026 at 2:17 AM
Very few people had a bad thing to say about Devers/Cora before they were jettisoned but now everything bad that has ever happened to the Red Sox is their fault. "He hit Caleb Durbin 2nd!" They all scream into the void without taking a second to think that the problem may be deeper than that.
The last two years of Sox fandom have been so interesting. People willing to flip their opinions on a dime because something happens that they SHOULD disagree with.

I just don't know what Breslow has done to inspire the confidence.
April 26, 2026 at 2:10 AM
If they had cleaned house I'd be happy tonight. Breslow surviving is a very very bad sign.

Alex Cora is going to be hired whenever and wherever he wants.

Breslow will be lucky to end up a pitching director once he gets canned.
April 25, 2026 at 11:53 PM
Honestly, my main gripe isn't even Cora going, it's stopping where they did.
April 25, 2026 at 11:31 PM
Have they already committed to Breslow running the managerial hire? If not, why not just fire him now? This is all such a cluster fuck
April 25, 2026 at 11:29 PM
Can't wait to hear Breslows reasoning for keeping Bailey. How can it be anything other than "well he's my really good friend"
April 25, 2026 at 11:10 PM
And now we wait for the @redsoxstats.bsky.social blog to hit out inboxes.

Truly embarrassing the Breslow has the leverage to pull something like this. Terrified for the future.
April 25, 2026 at 11:00 PM
So the answer was yes apparently
Not at all suggesting they should, because they shouldn't as none of this is his fault (well, maybe some of the Devers stuff but I digress), but do you think Breslow could even fire Cora if he wanted to at this point?
April 25, 2026 at 10:44 PM
Bellos performance this year is karmic retribution for the ridiculous mock trades Sox fans put him in. Yeah man. Him and Duran was going to get us Marte
April 24, 2026 at 11:43 PM
Okay maybe it's time to panic about Roman
April 24, 2026 at 7:01 PM
Very under discussed element of the offseason.
They haven't improved the bullpen at all!
April 23, 2026 at 11:58 PM
All of last year Lou would suggest promoting Duran to centerfield every time he misplayed a ball in left, so I guess it's progress that he waited for something good to happen before suggesting promoting Duran to everyday playing time and the leadoff spot.

Yankees suck chant (while getting pantsed and 5 games back) into Sweet Caroline as the season slips away. The Fenway park experience!
April 23, 2026 at 12:48 AM
Everyone reacting to Duran changing his swing again: this is what he does. Insane tinkerer. Never sticks for an extended period of time so do yourself a fair and don't fool yourself thinking he's figured something out.
Any idea why Duran has seemingly gone back to a swing more similar to his swing pre-power surge? Early 2024, late 2024, today.
