my point *almost exactly. Impossible to draw national (or corporate) boundaries in the age of transnational greed. To boycott Fender we'd also have to cut out Reverb, Boss, etc. as Servco is major owner.. guess is it's the shareholders behind this, not 'Fender' which is merely one of its signifiers.

Fender 'fixing' their mediocre guitar syndrome through corporate law instead of quality. Yes, I own their S & T-styles (mostly) for their headstocks: horrible quality for the price. Let's support the brands that are doing real work rather than upselling their subpar image.
