In the light of the recent new executive order about vaccines, this is worth another share. This is my personal experience. It's not made up story to prove a point. Any physician my age who has ever taken care of childen or worked in an emergency room likely has similar stories. #pedsky #vaccines

There are no commercially available separate measles, mumps, or rubella shots in the U.S. Separating these vaccines is not safer and would lead to more illness. RFK Jr. and definitely our President are actively sowing confusion and harming the health of American children. That is all. #pediatrics

Head Start is an incredible success story. As it has been built for over 60 years, it has made kids coming from high risk situations more successful in school and in life. Of course, they’re coming for it….
30 years ago this week, I started as a real pediatrician. 150 thousand patient visits later I still love it. My kids bring me joy, give me hugs, and often make me laugh out loud 100 times a day. Thousands of kids and newborn babies held. I've been so lucky to have lived this life. #pediatrics

I can think of a lot of things that would be better named in "honor" of DJT. I wish we still lived in a rural area. I would name our lagoon after him.

"Survival of the fittest". A Darwinesque vision undergirding the entire RFK Jr. antivax movement. A cult of death. In the Smokies on vacation decades ago, we walked an old graveyard. Many plots had parents accompanied by stone lambs. Babies they lost before they had a chance to live. RFK's vision.
