As dry as it has been this Summer I've been doing a deep watering on the Flame Acanthus about once a week or so. I think the Hummingbirds are ok with that.
Not as good as it could be, but it was taken at just over 60 feet away.

So Michele Tafoya says Minnesotans are embarrassed to say they're from that fine state.
I'm thinking she misheard folks remarks when they said they were embarrassed about people like Tafoya and Lindell getting as many votes as they did!

Well the smoke has made it down into our area this evening. Heavy across the Panhandle and Oklahoma, so still to our north.
Shows quite thick on the satellite at sundown and you can see the smoke layers to our northwest. The nearest edge is just over 100 miles to the northwest.
