One does not get a plethora of the same type of people unless the views of that type of person is align with the views of the organization. ICE is a paramilitary organization filled with racist and misogynist. There goal is not immigration enforcement but rather intimidation.

If your state needs FEMA help because of a disaster, and those finds are being withheld because of politics, your politicians are not serving as politicians but only serving themselves. Please vote our of office every Republican.

I do not know if it is privilege that fosters my opinion rather than concern. I know additction is a diease. I am concerned that people with that condition are offerred inticements for gambling now almost 24/7 without any kind of filter or screening. We can and should do better.

Congress is supposed to be there for their constituents. Republicans only have one constituent that that is the Republican party. This November, vote to get representation instead of just party by voting out every Republican from office.

We really do need a cognitive test for being a congress person. Mitch would fail and should not be trotted out to vote as his handlers tell him to vote.

There really is only one solution for that. To do what every other first world nations have done and adopt universal healthcare paid for by taxes. We are the only nation on earth where the leading cause of bankruptcies is medical debit. A Yale study said that universal healthcare would save money

Europe and the United States owes Zelensky big time. He and the Ukrainian people have showed how one fights in the new drone age. They have held their own against a huge threat and have done so for years. People see that and this explains the difference in the polling.

Nice step, but what Americans need is what every other first world nations already have which is universal healthcare paid for by taxes. No insurance, no co-pays, dental and vision included. That is the work you should be doing.

While I understand that addicts will always find a way to do what they want to do, I think the online gambling sector, has got no regulations on helping addicts or screening for them. This is one of the reasons I pointed out the lack of regulations.

I do not buy that argument. Many gamble with the hope of bettering the lives of themselves or their families. Times are difficult. The cost of living is exceeding the ability to make ends meet. I think desperation is also a factor.

The EPA has been a stalwart for the environment for decades. Now it is a tool for the oligarchs to poison us so they make even more money. It is more than time for us to rally against shit like this.

If and when the efforts to gerrymander and cut off voters fails, I believe we will see the next level of corruption take place. I think that Speaker Johnson will say that rampant fraud was found (without data) in the midterm elections and therefore he will not seat any of the newly elected members.

Americans want real news, not some pablum that the autocrats would like us to believe. The network of Cronkite has fallen so far that it is no longer trusted. They will not see rating increases until they start giving us real news.

Most other first world nations do not have the egregious costs for college. They see subsidizing college as an investment in the future of their countries. Here it is used as a leash to keep the educated in line and keep the lower classes from getting an education. This needs to change.

I honestly cannot think of an industry that destroys more lives than then the online betting sector. These people are carnivores eating through the middle class making them the poor. I cannot believe the lack of regulations on this sector.

I support impeachment for Hegseth. He is a disaster as SECDEF. Unfortunately, I think removal from office is pretty much impossible.
