I think the only way I would begin to understand or rationalise going for Sarr is if it is in conjunction with taking a gamble on a non-T5 league talent like Osorio

I'd say I'm relatively level headed with the club, but I am genuinely going to start asking questions of whether Richard Hughes has deliberately fucked the club over if his parting gifts are selling Gakpo to a rival and buying soon to be 29 year old Sarr for a silly figure.

Sorry y'all, using Gerrard as a reason to play Szobo right mid isn't it. Gerrard had traits that were distinctly suited to being exceptional in that role. Szobo can do it, and has before, but he won't be anything like Gerrard. Soz.

Honestly mad to me that Hughes can't find someone who can play European football and is versatile to cover RB/CB. Like there are players out there.
