When you work a hybrid job, being forced to sit in an office after you’ve been done with your work for 4 hours, with zero calls or emails the entire time, is such a waste of time. If I can drive home and still stay on shift and pick up any work that comes in, why am I stuck here?

It’s wild how much influence the Great Lakes have on winter weather. A cold front can drop temps fast in Chicago, yet SW Michigan stays noticeably milder thanks to Lake Michigan acting like a giant heat reservoir.
