Seems it's time to post this one again, for those of you interested in relocating and working remotely. YES, there still are remote jobs in many locations and depending on the work you like to do/can do, there may be a fit for you in sunnier or cooler or beachier locations.

So you're between jobs and being called "in transition" -- no, you're a free agent. Calling (and being) a free agent is a mindset of power. YOU are talented and have so much to offer the right company. Think of yourself that way and your search will be easier.

Like me, peers are busier than they have been in yrs helping laid off ppl in their job searches. Many are single parents w/ little/no notice about their layoffs so now they are scrambling for health care coverage.
Jobless numbers have to be soaring but will this D of Labor tell us what they are?
